Decra Shake stone coated metal shake roofing offers the beauty of a thick-split shake with the energy efficient design of an over batten roof shake. Less expensive than Decra Shake XD, Decra Shake offers a rugged look, with rough-sawn shake sections and long-standing reputation for performance, longevity, and versatility. Decra Shake features a vented airspace that insulates to reduce utility costs and 26 gauge steel to handle hurricane winds.
Design & Size
We provide Decra Shake by the roofing square (100 square feet). Each shingle is 14.625″ high by 53″ wide and covers 12.625″ high x 51″ wide once installed. To cover one square requires 22.4 Decra Shake panels.

Warranty & Finish
Decra Shake carries a lifetime limited warranty – review the warranty sheet for details. The finish is a ceramic coated stone granule protected by a clear overglaze. This granule finish is installed over a basecoat, acrylic primer, and Aluminum-Zinc alloy coated steel.

Purpose & Use
Tight fitting top and side flanges and time-tested fasteners into the vertical leg of the panel make Decra Shake a great choice for roofs as low as 3:12. Decra Shake is designed for installation on solid deck applications, over battens.
Decra Shake is most often chosen for residential applications but also functions at a high level for light commercial and church applications as well.
Decra Shake is Florida and Miami-Dade Hurricane Zone approved as well as passing both Texas Windstorm and UL90 wind uplift testing.
