Sapphire European Tile provides the elegant beauty of European tile roofing in a custom cut-to-length steel material. Sapphire is stamped in 3′ to 19′ 6″ sheets for ease of installation – a tough 26 gauge steel and baked on Hylar/Kynar paint finish ensure strength and longevity.
Design & Size
We provide Sapphire custom formed to the inch from 3′ to 19′ 6″ long. Sapphire’s design features 1.25″ high wave barrels, spaced 7.25″ on center. Barrels have a 1/2″ step up every 13.75″, for a total height of 1.75″. Sapphire comes in 26 gauge standard.

Warranty & Finish
Sapphire European Tile carries a 50 year limited warranty which covers manufacturing defects, 240 MPH wind, and hail. It also carries a 35 year paint, fade, and chalk warranty. The finish is a Kynar 500® / Hylar 5000® PVDF baked-on enamel paint over primer and G90 Galvanized steel.

Purpose & Use
Long cut-to-inch sheets and tight fitting overlaps make Sapphire European Tile a great choice for roofs as low as 3:12. Sapphire is designed for installation on solid deck applications – primarily direct to deck, but can also be installed over wood batten supports over solid decking.
Sapphire European Tile is most often chosen for residential and light commercial applications – any structure that requires the look of clay or concrete tile without the extreme weight.
Sapphire has not been tested in Florida at this time.
